Session description
In this webinar, participants will be walked through seven psychosocial themes that can impact psychological health and safety in healthcare workplaces and learning environments, as well as their connection with the five psychosocial rehabilitation domains. Participants will be introduced to tools and resources to support healthier environments at the organizational and team level. Finally, practical case studies will be reviewed and discussed as a group to apply psychological health and safety strategies to everyday situations.
Presenters
Michaela Keogh (she/her) is one of the Senior Program Managers on the Prevention and Promotion Initiatives Team at the Mental Health Commission of Canada. She is responsible for supporting the psychological health and safety of healthcare workers and the Quality Mental Health Care Network files. Prior to her role at the Mental Health Commission of Canada, Michaela managed Mental Health Strategies and Initiatives at the post-secondary level in Ottawa.
Karina Urdaneta (she/her) is a Program Manager at the Mental Health Commission of Canada. Karina has worked on several projects on psychological health and safety in healthcare settings, Recovery-Oriented practice, and mental health- and substance-use related structural stigma in healthcare.
