Objectives 
1. To provide participants with a description of previous ways in which mental health information was included in Police Information Checks
2. To provide participants with highlights of the recommendations of BC's Privacy and Information Commissioner on the inclusion of mental health information in Police Information Checks
3. To update participants about recent changes to policy related to the non-inclusion of mental health information in Police Information Checks

?Jonny has worked at CMHA BC since July 2008. During that time he has developed capacity at provincial and national levels to respond to campus mental health and substance use (Healthy Minds/Healthy Campuses), overseen provincial programs (Bounce Back) and most recently has led the Division's Public Policy portfolio with a focus key priorities that include the interface between people with mental health and/or substance use problems and the criminal justice system. 

The BC PSR Advanced Practice is pleased to offer a webinar on supporting shifts in mental health policy and practice regarding police information checks in a BC/Canadian context.
